Our Policies
1.  We can only take an animal when we have an opening.  We truly wish that we never had to
turn someone away.

2.  We accept animals that are mentally challenged, handicapped,  chronically ill and terminally ill.

3.  We do not adopt out any animal.

4. Our sanctuary is operated from our home.  We are not a public shelter.

5. We welcome you to come and visit, however please be aware of the following:
Do to risk of injury, we do not allow you to socialize with most of the  animals.  Our animals have
a wide variety of mental issues which causes them to act in ways that are different from a normal
animal.   We have done rescue work for twenty five years and have seen many good rescues go
under for stupid mistakes and we do not plan on joining them.

6. We do not have a paid staff, therefore if you call or email, do not get offended if your call is not
returned within 48hours.  Our animals are the main priority.

7. We will try our best to help you in placing your pet if you can not keep it, however please do not
tell us how much you love it and you're going to take it to Animal Control if we can't take it.  DO
NOT put the guilt on us.
